Glenwood Springs, Colorado is one of a handful of year-round resorts. It’s clientele represent affluent, well-educated, trend-setting consumers from around the world. Tucked away in the Rocky Mountains, Glenwood Springs, in the winter, offers a traditional Colorado Ski area, Sunlight Mountain Resort. While in the summer, it is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and culture seekers. Many enjoy the soothing comforts of the world famous, Glenwood Hot Springs, after an active day in the summer or in the winter.

In addition to Glenwood Springs’ excellent cultural and historical attributes, the area’s year-round activities offer visitors and residents infinite recreational possibilities. Wintertime at Sunlight Mountain Resort, above Glenwood Springs, means blue skies, deep powder and some of the best ski terrain in the state. During the summer, try kayaking, whitewater rafting, spelunking and fly fishing.  A myriad of hiking and biking trails await the rugged enthusiast, as well.  Add an eclectic verse of people and one has a truly have an original destination mountain town.
